EGADZ is an inter-agency, non-profit organization’s purpose to provide services for hard to serve youth in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc. - EGADZ requires a Human Resources Coordinator interested in a fulltime position within EGADZ.

Qualifications:

· Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Combination of education and experience may be considered.

· 1-2 years of proven experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or in a Human Resources Management leadership role.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop and present to various audiences

· Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

· Experience working with HRIS/Database software is an asset

· Strong interpersonal skills (problem solving, conflict management, active listening, mediation and diplomacy) with proven ability to build positive relationships

· Experience in Human Resources Management with a focus on Social or Youth Services and community development preferred.

· Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License that reflects a safe driving record – A driver’s Abstract is required within three (3) months of employment

· Must be able to provide a clear criminal records check and vulnerable sector check (required within six (6) months of employment.

· Proven understanding of employment law both federally and provincially in a Human Resources capacity.

Duties:

· Perform full cycle recruitment including job postings, onboarding/offboarding duties and related other administrative duties

· Develop and maintain accurate up-to-date employee files and records; this includes in-house databases to be in compliance with employment standards and privacy regulations

· Employee relations to support employee inquiries, concerns and issues escalating to the Executive Director/Programs Manager or designated Coordinator when appropriate

· Ability to communicate and ensure adherence to Organizational processes and Provincial and Federal guidelines

· Assist to develop and foster a positive and respectful workplace culture

· Strong ability to coordinate staff training and recognize staff development initiatives of the organization

· Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the HR functions of the Organization and the overall operations of the Youth Centre.

· Experience using computer software such as Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Azure) and Sharepoint

· Other duties as assigned

Starting Wage $25.75
